A Fresh 48 occurs in your hospital room or at your home during the first 48 hours of your baby’s life. It is a lifestyle type of session that focuses on the simplicity of family connection and uses natural posing and lighting to highlight your baby and family exactly as you are. No fluff, awkward posing, or flashing lightbulbs. The quiet hours after birth are filled with the wonder of beautiful first memories.

This is a very relaxed newborn session in the comfort of your home. Newborns are typically considered when they are up to 8 weeks old. The style is a mix of lifestyle and documentary photography. We'll give you some direction, but our favorite moments to capture are the genuine interactions you have with your baby. We'll usually spend time on your bed, in the living room, or in a nursery if you've got one set up. We love to focus on babies naturally without poses, and we've found they are happiest when in your arms.
