Birth videography and photography allow parents to re-live one of the most important days of their lives. Look back at the pictures and also watch the moment your baby is lifted and goes to your chest for the very first time. Listen to your baby's first cry, and see your partner's emotions and reactions. This is a once in a lifetime moment that can be professionally documented, and you can have an artistic and cinematic video, plus photos. You and your family can focus on being present in that moment, while I will capture the story, the beauty and the emotion of your baby's birth.
I am available to film births at homes, birth centers or at hospitals in Palm Beach County, but I only take two births per month, due to the unpredictability of births. A typical birth include:
On-call for you 24/7 from 38-42 weeks - day or night, I'll be there.
Unlimited time coverage of labor and delivery in video and photos until up to two hours after the birth.
A 4-minute+ cinematic film telling the birth story, so you can remember the sounds, the movement, the emotion.
All-inclusive photos for download - in black and white, and color
Consultation: in-person or video call. I want to know your birth plan and preferences.
Local travel.
An 8x8" album with 20 pages and an acrylic cover.

Absolutely, I am on call 24 hours.

Every birth experience is worth documenting and I will go anywhere you go. While it depends on the hospital you’re delivering at whether I can be in the operating room with you or not, there are still many important moments I’m able to capture during your hospital stay.

Definitely, we will go over exactly what you are and are not comfortable with and you may ask any other questions you might have when we get together.

Each birth experience is unique and different. A longer labor and delivery will result in more imagery. You can expect to receive around 50+ edited images, a 8x8 album with 10 spreads and acrylic cover, and a 4+ minute film.documenting a normal day of your life.

I will give you a few portraits teasers within 24 hours and you should receive the rest and the video in the next weeks but it varies on my schedule and the amount of images taken. I want to deliver them to you as fast as possible.

Because of the intimate nature of birth videography and photography, you absolutely have the opportunity to approve all images before they are shared with family and friends.

Documenting a birth is like having a bride saying that she wants you to come to photograph her wedding, but isn’t going to set a date. She’ll just call you whenever. And when you ask her how many hours of coverage she would like, she says she’s not sure, probably around 24, but maybe only 2. And you ask her when she’d like for you to start coverage and she says she won’t know, but probably around 2 am. And also, that she doesn’t want any use of flash. And, she’s going to want the images right away to send out announcements.

I'll go meet you during labor and stay with you until a couple hours after you are holding your baby in your arms. I’ll be there, a fly on the wall, capturing it all: the conversations, the emotions, the interactions, the moment you and your partner see your baby for the first time, the first cry, the first feeding... You will be to be able to watch those once in a lifetime moments again!

FILM + PHOTOS
Get the tissues ready because it will be emotional! I will show you the moments that you didn’t even know you needed to see. When we know that time is not coming back, holding on to our memories is all we have. And what we leave to our kids impacts how they remember us. This is your baby birth story, preserved in a time capsule for you and for them.

A $500 retainer and some quick online paperwork is all you need to reserve and block your due date on my calendar. I only take two births per month, due to the unpredictability of births. All clients have access to my Online Print Store with a curated selection of gorgeous print products.
